    1. Hi there,
As for the Tomatina. It's celebrated in Buñol, near Valencia which is 900 km from Vigo. Some people in the class has travelled there but most of us haven't. Our teacher haven't been there either... she says she doesn't like getting hit with tomatoes and soaked all over :-D

We really love this festival. In Galicia, wineries are very important and Albariño wine is really famous.
We'd love to have the possibility to show you around in a near future.
      Thanks for working with us.

  5. Hi everyone! I´m the American auxiliar teacher, and my name is Megan. Your projects look so wonderful, and it´s great to learn about gastronomic festivals in Spain and Italy. The White Truffle festival in Alba looks amazing! I love truffles, and Italian cuisine is one of my favorites, so I´m sure the truffles are some of the best in the world! I would love to try the other dishes in the Piemonte cuisine, too! I hope I get the opportunity to visit Alba and Turin one day because they seem so beautiful. :)

  6. The Pagnotta festival also seems so interesting! Lecce looks like a very beautiful and fun place to go visit, with a lot of amazing buildings and monuments to go see. I love that people still practice the tradition of eating the bread after so many centuries, and the bread itself looks so delicious. :)

great job on the presentation, it´s fantastic!

    2. Hi there,
We liked very much reading about your festivals. We read about the CIBUS fair and we think it's very interesting. In Galicia we have a similar fair that helps to promote Tourism and Gastronomy, it's called Festur (www.festur.es).
